We are also lucky to have three Readers in Training in the Benefice.

Mrs Jude Peters.

We wish them all well in their training.

The Rev'd. John Webber is Rector of the Benefice. Revd. Mrs
Helen Edwards is our Benefice Treasurer and somehow finds time to cope with three daughters as well as this exacting commitment.

Mrs Sue Brooks from Marcross is our Magazine Editor and can be contacted on 01656 890689. She is always ready to look at and accept an article or item of news for the monthly 'Benefice News'.

Mrs Natalie Snuggs is our Youth Officer and does wonderful work with the God Squad.  The God Squad comprises the youngsters of the parish and they meet every Sunday in the Gatehouse, Llantwit Major.  Once a month they get together with the youngsters in St Tathan's church and lead a Youth Prayer and Praise Service in St Illtud's. Contact can be made through the Parish Office 01446 795551.

Mrs Jackie Clifford is our Parochial Church Council Secretary and combines it with her job in the Padre's office on the RAF camp in St Athan.

Mrs Lynn Brown is our Musical Director and is in charge of all the music in the Benefice, especially that in St Illtud's which is the only church in the Benefice to have a choir.  She is an excellent pianist, accompanist and organist as well as a composer and arranger.  She has taken the choir out to the smaller churches for special Benefice Services and this is always greatly appreciated.

Mr Tony Meakins is our Gift Aid Secretary and is an expert in giving through Gift Aid.

Mrs Isabel Campbell is our Administrator and hails originally from Liverpool.  She manages the Office with huge skill, competence and good humour.

The Parish Office is open during the hours of 10.00 am until 12.30 pm from Tuesday to Friday and is staffed by volunteers.  More volunteeers are always needed to answer the phone and deal with various queries. As well as handling many of the administrative tasks within the parish, the Office also houses facsimiles of the parish registers and archive documents. A search of the registers is possible, either by a member of the office staff or by members of the public and a fee of £5 per hour is payable.
